Mehdi Mirkiaei

Mehdi Mirkiaei (born 1973 in Tehran) is an Iranian writer, scholar, and literary figure. He holds a doctorate in Islamic-era Iranian history and has authored over 40 books spanning fiction, contemporary history, and short stories.

In addition to his original works, he has translated books such as Angel with Long Hair (from Korean) and Magic at the Amusement Park (from Bosnian). Mirkiaei’s writing combines literary storytelling with historical and socio-political themes, and his works, particularly in children’s literature and contemporary fiction, have received recognition in Iran.
